In 2020 and 2021, travelling was not an easy task as the Covid-19 pandemy was still ongoing, a lot of restrictions were applied. But, the island of La Réunion is a french territory and then easier to go to. That was the opportunity to fly there and explore.
The island is located in the Indian ocean close to Madagascar. Famous for its landscapes and reliefs diversity, it is possible to go in mountains for hiking in the morning and being back on the beach to have a swim in the lagoon in the afternoon. From Cilaos to Mafate and Salazie, from the volcano to the sea, the nature on the island is pretty unique !
