Recently, I’ve been interested in this strange object which is the Rubik’s Cube. Known to be a hard puzzle in three dimensions to be solved by assembling each color of the cube. After understanding the easiest method to complete it, I’ve been thinking that this principle would be nice to be applied with a living world into it.
Being also interested in the underwater world and its wildlife, I chose to create a cube containing an ocean but also being itself in the ocean to make a nice “mise en abyme”. This drawing attention of some turtles passing by and manta rays coming from the deep and dark blue.
